On June 21st, for National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Metis across Canada.
Mount Slesse is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Sto:lo people. We are privileged to learn and play in this place and we carry gratitude in our hearts for the original care takers of the land we live on.
Events and activities are scheduled throughout Chilliwack to honour Indigenous Peoples Day. You can learn more here and here.
